Duo is a user-centric access security platform that provides two-factor authentication, endpoint security, remote access solutions and more to protect users all over the world. With Duo's recognition and success on the rise it was no surprise that a big player in the industry like Cisco acquired the company in 2018.
Designing for a cyber security company like Duo and Cisco is refreshing. They pride themselves in using positive and inviting imagery. There's no fear bating the viewer with typical images of hooded hackers and binary code. Instead, when I joined the team, they were transitioning from vector style graphics to the collage style you see below. Inspired by early Swedish collage artists. I really enjoyed working through the challenges that come with the minimal design style.
Custom Collages
Part of my work at Duo was to deliver custom collages and designs that I would later put into different kinds of guides, event booths and documents. These are mostly used to inform clients and prospects on the specific benefits within the company, depending on what industry you're in. The. collage stye has now been phased. out to align cohesively with the Cisco brand.
Blog Headers
Blog Headers was a common request and something that allowed me to explore everything from abstract to specific details about cyber security within various sub-topics.

Guides & eBooks
Duo prides itself in their informative and uniquely designed eBooks and guides. These documents range from product spotlights to educational pieces mixed with some sales content. Designing these eBooks and guides is one of my favorite things to do for Duo. It allows me to expand on a creative theme and challenges me to turn complex ideas and solutions into visually intriguing documents. The eBooks and guides i've designed remain top performing assets for Duo.
Event Invitations
One of my favorite assignments with Duo was designing invitations for various kinds of events the company would sponsor or support. These would range from large sporting events to more intimate dinners. I also was requested to design a number of 'generic' themed invitations that would fit in for specialty one-time events.
Social media / web ads
Being on the marketing. team at Cisco Duo requires a consistent output of digital ads for social media and the web. Above is an example of some recent Duo ads I made for the paid media team. Most common ads types are jpgs and animated HTML5 ads.
Merchandise
Merchandise I made for Duo includes designs for shirts backpack's electronics and more.
