Services: graphic design, art direction, web design, event design, motion graphics, audio
Gaia is a conscious streaming service with over 700,000 subscribed members . The service offers members a video library with thousands of mindful videos. Everything from yoga classes, and ayurveda to shows about the human potential and exploring ancient ruins.
My role at Gaia was to concept and create the branding and visuals for original series and documentaries from start to finish, social media content, designing and building landing pages for sales and marketing purposes, design for print and events, as well as providing content for our blogs and ads for our sales team. Although not a role requirement I also brought new and innovative ideas that were implemented in our design and marketing campaign process.

"Start Within" Campaign
This kind of campaign is very close to my heart. It gave me more creative fuel to get through some of the challenges of building the actual page. Being a part of the conceptual phase from the beginning, there was a lot of information given. We wanted to be sure the page wouldn't be to overwhelming for the user and would hopefully get them to share their stories. The goal of this page is to connect people and show how we are more similar than different. It was also imperative to offer the viewer holistic tools to help better connect to themselves and others.
Yoga Every Day App - Campaign
Yoga Every Day was a series on Gaia that offered members a new yoga practice everyday. The app was designed to give users quick access to new practices through an easy to use interface. In addition to my role in the branding process, I designed and built the sales landing page to attract new prospects to the streaming service.
A highlight of this project was creating the visual breakdowns of the app features that you see above. Daily reminders, today's practice and favorite practices. I had the idea to present them in a clear, effective and informative way.

"Psychedelica" is a Gaia original series that centers around ancient shamanic teachings and the healing benefits of psychedelic plant medicine. I began the design process by meeting with the series creator and host to align with the direction of the series content. I had a clear vision of the direction he wanted for the series identity, which is very much rooted in sacred plant medicine and shamanism.

I incorporated this theme through various shapes of psychedelic plants in the logo and series visual. I was able to create a distinct look that suggested the content of the series to the viewer and one that left the show creator thrilled and excited.
I incorporated a feminine face that denotes "mother ayahuscah", which is a sacred figure that is commonly associated with the experience.
Psychedelica prominently highlights the healing plant ayahuasca which is used prevalently by the various indigenous tribes of Peru. After working closely with the series creator, I additionally incorporated icaro patterns which are geometric like shapes that are heard, felt and seen by the Shipibo tribe.
Electric Universe is an original series by 'Gaia' centered around a celestial event that occurred thousands of years ago. The show is a bridge between ancient mythology and a deeper dive into modern electromagnetic theories. When I came up with the logo concepts I wanted to include something that looked like a circuit board with a minimalistic clean feel. I incorporated the symbols for an electronic switch inspired frame into the logo. In the end we decided to lose the frame and move forward with just the typeface. This decision helped to better highlight the details in the series visual.
Process
Here is a peek into my process of visually re-creating the event the show is based on for the series poster.
Show Visuals
During my time at Gaia, I had the pleasure of designing and visually bringing to life many different series by the production company. This included logo exploration and design, color choices, show identity and even set design. Above are some of my favorite show visuals i've designed during my time at Gaia.
